My oatmeal is still a work in progress. It smells divine. But the taste is a bit bland still. I was a bit hesitant to add brown sugar. I am trying to be healthy here and adding pure sugar seems counter productive lol. But I added some today but the flavor still is not where it should be I think. I will just have to keep trying.
I stayed up a bit late last night. Yet again I have to get my sleep/bedtime under control because that is my one obstacle and could be my biggest downfall. I still dragged my butt out of bed this morning though. DH apparently gets up super early on Mondays so he woke me up at like 5:15am which was just too early for me lol. So I reset the alarm for 6:15 and got up then. I was dragging it though. Did not want to get up. Did not want to go. But I did anyways!! On top of that it was raining again today. A very light drizzle though and it was not anywhere near cold like it was yesterday. Kindof nice temp actually. The rain sucks though I find myself trying to not step on the 8 million worms littering the sidewalk because ewww lol
I am walking a pretty slow mile. But thats ok. I am just getting back into it. And I think it is better that I go slow then rush and end up in pain. Its all about doing it that matters. Baby steps is fine as long as I work my way up up up!
As soon as I walk in the door my cats get so excited to see me as if I was gone forever during that short walk lol. And my one cat Keeba actually has to love me nonstop and helps me stretch. When I get on the floor and stretch my legs out he stretches out along one of my legs then when I am reaching forward he lays between my legs and also stretches way out. It is adorable!
I am always amazed at how much my body remembers. It picks it all back up and as much as it fights me I can also feel it remembering and coming to life. I am in so much less pain then I was last week and I come home and stretch and it is just idk how to explain it this amazing feeling.
Another great feeling is how energized and alive I feel throughout the day after I workout. It just gives me so much energy. I love that feeling. I really do love working out.
I also wanted to say that I found this awesome website:

It has great recipes and amazing pictures of everything. This inspires me to cook like no other site yet!
