The Upside of Down

So I am feeling a bit blue today. Yesterday I had a bit of a rough day. I had the super boredom munchies all day.

Incoming DH rant...We have a 2 bedroom apartment and one room is set aside as our computer room. It has a tv and both of our computers in it. Well it was my husband's day off and he wanted to play the playstation which is hooked up to his computer. The problem is that whatever crappy game he was playing he had it turned up super loud giving me a headache. I asked him to turn it down the other day and he just snapped at me and said he wouldn't. I could perhaps understand if it was a game where people are talking and you wanna listen to what they are saying. But no...it is just loud abonxious music. I don't get why he needs that turned up at all. So I just didn't even both to ask today and left the room.

Where I just pretty much zoned out in front of the tv all day. I did get the dishes done but that is about it. And being bored had me feeling starved. I didn't horribly pig out but I didn't do great either.

I just feel bad because he works like 10-12 hour shifts. While I don't work. So on his days off he should get to do what he wants since all the other days of the week sure I can use my computer all I want. But I still find him to be insensitive and a jerk so... No win there.


Number 2 bad thing was I ended up falling asleep in the living room chair at like 9ish off and on and then got up and went to bed at about 10. So in the past I was going to bed at around 4-5am then just started this week going to bed at 1-2am. idk how I was tired or fell asleep at 10. But somehow which I don't understand at all. I woke up at 1pm.... How do you go to bed at 10 & sleep till 1??? I even thought about setting the alarm clock but was like nah I am going to bed at 10 ofcourse I will get up early.


Then as soon as I woke up today I decided to weigh in. Sunday is my official day, but today could be alittle sneak peek lol Well the scale tells me I Gained .6lbs. I have eaten way better then I have been and worked out and I gain. Somedays it feels like a big ugly sick joke the universe is playing on you.


I won't let this all pull me under though. I go shopping today gonna buy lots of good stuff. I am cooking a chicken recipe I found this week and serve it with some brown rice and veggies.

  • My goal this week is to cook a meal! & have the leftovers for several other meals. 
  • Eat more fruit and veggies
  • Workout harder!
I also decided that once i hit the 20lb lost mark I will do the pics like I said already and also take measurements. Then after that I will do the same after every 10lbs lost. 

Tomorrow will be my first morning walk. Getting up at 6am and will walk a mile.
